Rescue Mission to Celebrate Easter

ROME, NY ⏤ The Rome Rescue Mission invites the community for an Easter Celebration on Easter Sunday, March 31st from 9 AM – 2PM. The dining room will be open, and meals will be available for take-out. 

Easter meals will be delivered on Good Friday, March 29th to the following locations on a first come first serve basis:

  • Colonial I Apartments – 11 to 11:15 AM
  • Colonial II Apartments – 11:20 to 11:35 AM
  • Georgian Arms – 1:45 TO 12 PM
  • Madison Plaza – 12:05 to 12:20 PM
  • Rome Mall – 12:30 to 12:45 PM
  • Valentine Apts. – 1 to 1:15 PM

For our Easter celebration, the Mission needs the following items:  Hams, yams, potatoes, veggies [fresh and canned], pasta, eggs, butter, milk, bags of shredded cheddar cheese, mayo, honey, Easter candy, fresh fruit, lettuce, chips, dips and crackers. Cookies and desserts are welcome too.

Items can be donated Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm and Saturday-Sunday from 9am-2pm. at 413 E. Dominick St, Rome. Monetary donations can be made online at RomeMission.org and click donate at the top, dropped at our building at 413 E. Dominick St, Rome or mailed to P.O. Box 337 Rome, NY 13440. On Easter Sunday, the building will be open from 9am – 2pm with dinner served at noon.

The Rome Rescue Mission is a Christian organization committed to assisting the least, the last and the lost. The Mission provides a means of hope by giving shelter to the homeless, feeding the poor, inspiring life-long learning and encouraging a personal relationship with God to all individuals and families served.
