Easter is here and we are excited to share God’s love. This is the most joyous celebration of the year! We rejoice in the power of God’s love and sharing the good news of our Risen Savior!
May we be reminded this Easter that we are capable of sharing in God’s work by taking care of those who need it the most in our community.
1 John 4:21 says, “And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.”
We serve over 400 meals on Easter Sunday! So many in our community feel alone and abandoned on Easter day. We will also deliver over 200 meals for those who can’t be with us to ensure they are feeling the joy and love that we share during this time. It is because of your support and kindness that we are able to spread God’s love and message throughout our community and to those who need it most!
The Rome Rescue Mission will be holding its annual Easter Celebration at 413 E. Dominick Street Easter Sunday, April 12th. The celebration begins with our annual Easter egg hunt at 12:00 P.M. with prayer service at 12:30 P.M. and Brunch from 1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M.
People unable to attend our celebration are encouraged to call 315-337-2516 to have a meal delivered. Agencies and Senior Centers can fax a list of people in need of meals at 315-339-6439 or call 315-337-2516.
Items can be donated Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm and Saturday-Sunday from 9am-2pm. at 413 E. Dominick St, Rome.
