ROME, NY (December 2021) – The Rome Rescue Mission will be hosting its Christmas Brunch on Christmas Day; Saturday December 25th from 12 noon – 2:00 PM. Brunch at the Mission or takeout will be available. Masks are required for all non-vaccinated people.
The Mission will be open Christmas Eve, December 24th from 9am – 5pm. The Mission is closed December 26th.
The Mobile Mission will be distributing meals on Thursday, December 23, 2021, with this schedule:
Colonial 1 – 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM
Colonial 2 – 12:20 PM to 12:40 PM
Valentine Apts. – 12:50 PM to 1:10PM
Rome Mall – 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM
Georgian Apts. – 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM
Madison Plaza – 2:20 PM to 2:40 PM
The Rome Rescue Mission is also collecting toys to provide for the 800-plus families served each Christmas. New unwrapped toys can be brought into the mission on weekdays from 9am to 6 pm or weekends 9 am to 2 pm. Donation arrangements can be made by calling 315-337-2516.
The Rome Rescue Mission serves 250 meals per day and has a 16-bed shelter for women and children. They provide a means of hope by giving shelter to the homeless, feeding the poor, inspiring lifelong learning, and encouraging a personal relationship with God to everyone who is served.
