If you’re a student at Rome Free Academy (RFA) and are interested in any of these fields, then here is your chance to get some hands-on experience! All classes within the 10-week program will take place at the Mohawk Valley Community College’s (MVCC) Utica & Rome Campuses, and happen twice a year.

The S.T.E.A.M. Experience will provide you with:

• Hands-on experience in college-level labs
• Learn about S.T.E.A.M. career opportunities
• Dinner provided during every class
• Transportation provided by Rome City Schools
• Completion ceremony with friends and family

3 Different Track Options are available:

• 9th Graders: STEAM Drone & Fab Lab Program
• 9th Graders: STEAM Culinary Arts Program
• 10th Graders: STEAM Robotics Program
